Petso Mokhatla from the University of the Free State, who also serves on the AgriBEE Board, visited Maluti Asparagus Company (MAC) to gain a firsthand understanding of the project and explore viable funding options. During the tour of the farm and the packhouse, a detailed explanation of the operations provided valuable insights, leading to the consideration of several potential funding avenues. A strategic plan has been developed, outlining the financiers to be approached shortly.
