PALS – Partners in Agri Land Solutions

PALS is the acronym for Partners in Agri Land Solutions, a private land reform and development initiative. It was established as Witzenberg PALS (NPC) in Ceres in 2015 by farmers in partnership with local communities and all three spheres of Government.

The key objective is to create an enabling environment to implement innovative land reform and inclusive agricultural growth that supports social harmony. The PALS objectives are in line with the Constitution and National Development Plan.

Through PALS, farmers of colour not only become true land owners with full title, but their success as farmers is ensured by sensible partnerships with commercial farmers. It is a tried-and-tested framework, based on sound corporate-governance principles, with all legality addressed, and is replicable across all commodities.
